Our chat on The Observatory Podcast was released last week. A fun chat with our dear friends Scott and LaRae Wright.
You know when you meet someone and you just immediately know that you are going to be the best kind of friends? I'm sure you do, aaaaand for us it's even more fun when you meet a COUPLE = fast friends x 2!
Scott and LaRae are those kind of friends. They both are the most loving, open-hearted humans in all the best ways, you'll quickly feel their energy when you listen in to their podcast.
We are grateful for the invitation and honored to call them dear friends. If you love podcasts, you'll quickly be a fan! So many great episodes, as you truly journey into the discovery of consciousness and awareness.
In our episode, we talk about life lessons, resilience, adaptability and our insights and experience as we open up about significant life changes, including our youngest daughter's mental health struggles and suicide ideation. The emotions, worries and challenges we have faced as parents and entrepreneurs during some difficult times.
Kelly and Scott quickly connected when we first met, as their stories resonated with one another. Scotts childhood has similarities to our story when his family took in four teenage cousins following his Dads brothers passing. A lot of synchronicities as our family went from five to seven and we became The Devenish Sevenish, after taking in our niece and nephew following Kelly's brother passing. There was no mistake they walked into our life.
Kelly and I share our thoughts on working together and the value of open communication. At a young age we embarked on an energetic journey and Kelly recently found his love for the energy work known as Reiki. Or should I say that Reiki found him? As he has navigated some dark times, dealing with old trauma that showed up for him in the last few years, he shares about his journey of anger, guilt and shame.
We even changed Kelly's reiki handle on Instagram during our chat, so funny. You'll find him now as the Redneck Reiki Master HERE, if you want to follow him.
We met in 1990, married in 1994…all those years ago we were just two ambitious young adults on the road to launching a synergistic relationship that would develop into the Devenish Duo. It's been a journey filled with love, laughter, pain, and pleasure. It's our journey. And we're excited to see what the next adventure brings.
We're passionate about everything we do,
because everything we do is by choice and by design.
