The wounds were deep.

Last year was one of the most difficult of my life. Some hardships began in May and I am feeling all the feels about it having come through to the other side as the new month is here. 

I battled my fears, my demons, uncertainty, doubt and pretty much every damn emotion you could imagine. 

There's been moments in the last year that I feel like I literally couldn't breathe and not sure I was going to make it through it; some wounds were deep. Often it felt like I was taking 50 steps forward and 150 steps back. New roadblocks at every corner just as I thought I had found clarity, I was pushed down again. I've been brought to my knee's many times before, yet this last year pushed me hard and I asked “what am I to learn from this?”

I heard as CLEAR as day and a big warm hug of golden light surrounded me “You are here to gather hearts and share the power of living a life by design!” 

And what I know for sure? We cannot create a Life By Design if we don't accept the challenges that our experiences have presented to us.  It is WHEN we are broke open that we find the passions and purposes of why we are here. 

Never have I excelled as much as when I have failed! That truth has been repeated in my life over and over again. 

I am so deeply grateful for this life. I'm so grateful for the challenges and for MY DESIRE TO GROW. I know that if we are not evolving we are dying. I'm grateful for the humbling lessons in every facet of my life. Some days I feel like I am on top of the world, and the next day I feel like the world is on top of me!

Both days I'm DEEPLY GRATEFUL for the opportunity to try another day!
