Watching all the graduations this month and the ending of one season; school and the beginning of a new one; summer.

The cycle of life just keeps on eternal repeat doesn't it? Isn't if funny how we know what season is next every single time YET we find ourselves saying things like “how can it be Summer already?" … before you know it, it will be winter again. The concept of thinking about the season behind us or before us, robs us of missing the moment we are literally standing in.

My good friend and coach, shared a profound statement with me several years ago and it stuck with me. Changed my life in many ways; hopefully it may do the same for you. She said, What if we just BE? We are human beings, not human doings. Bam! There it is, in black and white. What a simple, yet profound concept.

I was reminded this last week the importance of BEING PRESENT. Being in the moment of exactly where we are with every cell of our being. This reminder also had me reflecting on how often we are focused on the next thing, or the last thing, the to-do list or the phone call we forgot to make, and everything in between. I challenge you to be in personal awareness of the next the thought pops up for you. Simply notice it, and shift to the moment you are in. Feet on the floor, grounded to the “right now”. See how it feels, and do it again and again.

I know from personal experience the power of the present has a profound impact and transformative potential that can transcend our life by fully immersing oneself in the present moment, free from distractions and preoccupations with the past or future simple by BEING!

Practicing the power of the present moment is a continual process that requires conscious effort and attention. Through techniques such as meditation, mindfulness practices, and self-reflection, we can cultivate a greater presence in our daily lives and unlock the transformative potential that resides in the here and now.

Today, I encourage you to trust and know that the point of power is ALWAYS in the present moment. Pause. Inhale, Take it in. Indeed, the present moment is unique and fleeting. It is a precious and irreplaceable experience that will never occur in the exact same way again.

The understanding that this moment will never happen again serves as a reminder to cherish the present, engage mindfully, let go of regret and worry, cultivate gratitude, and live a life that reflects our truest aspirations. It encourages us to make the most of the time we have and create meaningful and fulfilling experiences.
